Step 2: Choose the Adhesive Board That Fits the Mold

Step 3: Prepare the materials and tools needed to make the rubber head.
Prepare a cup for stirring, a glass rod, and choose silica gel with different properties according to different pattern sizes.
Step 4: Use soapy water to clean the mold, and wipe it with gauze
This is a necessary common-sense step to avoid the impurity that causes the pad printing head not to be durable.
Step 5: Pour an appropriate amount of silicone oil according to the required hardness of the pad and stir evenly
The amount of silicone oil must be appropriate. The normal ratio of pad printing silicone and silicone oil is determined according to the customer's requirements. If the customer requires a large area of the printed pattern and needs to use a soft rubber head, add more silicone oil. On the contrary, if the hardness of the rubber head is required, no or less silicone oil is added. Generally, the hardness of the pad printing rubber head is15A~-25A° . If the amount of silicone oil added is too large, the rubber head is too soft, and the number of printing times is limited. Yes, no matter how good the quality of silica gel is, its molecular weight will be destroyed by silicone oil, resulting in the phenomenon of wear resistance, solvent resistance and aging.
Step 6:Pour the curing agent in the ratio of 100:2 and stir well
The ratio can not be wrong, otherwise there will be uneven curing, and even the mold will be directly scrapped when the mixing is not uniform.
Step 7: Pour one-third of the silicone into the mold, and vacuum all the glue.
The pad printing paste for making silicone moldsmust be vacuumed to remove air bubbles.
Step 8: Pour the rest of the glue into the mold
The ninth step: wait for8-10 minutes, cover the board when the glue is about to cross-link
Step 10:After 4-6 hours, it can be demolded, and it can be used after 8 hours.
