I. Method for Making Silicone Rubber Molds for Sculpture Crafts:

1. Use a plastic bowl to hold 500g of silicone rubber material, add 1.5% curing agent at room temperature, and mix thoroughly.

2. Treat the model product master model blank with a release agent to lubricate it.

3. Use wooden strips to surround the lubricated master blank, also treat the wooden strips with a release agent, and the central space should be 2-4cm.

4. Slowly pour the prepared liquid mold silicone along a fixed pouring point, and shake it from time to time to remove air bubbles.

5. After the silicone rubber material is completely cured for 60 minutes, surround it with wooden strips again, leaving a 4cm gap to remove the original wooden strips.

6. Mix 1000g of gypsum powder with water and pour it into the wooden strip frame until it is full (the wooden strip frame is divided into two parts with plastic sheets for easy demolding).

7. Remove the wooden strips after 20 minutes, and the silicone mold is complete.

II. Precautions for Using Silicone Rubber Materials for Sculpture Craft Molds:

1. The amount of curing agent should depend on the temperature; reduce it when the temperature is high. If too much curing agent is used, the silicone rubber mold for sculpture crafts will become hard and brittle; if too little curing agent is used, the operation time will be extended.

2. If the customer needs to make large products, such as split molds, use high-hardness liquid mold silicone; conversely, for complex patterns and fine molds, such as wrapping molds, use soft liquid mold silicone. To prevent changes in the physical properties of the silicone rubber for sculpture craft molds, it is recommended not to add silicone oil.

3. To achieve the best use effect of your silicone mold, please store the silicone mold for at least 24 hours before use.

4. After the soft silicone mold is made, a gypsum or fiberglass jacket must be made for support. Hard outer molds can also be made of resin.
