The former is the most traditional industrial-grade silica gel, while the latter is food-grade silica gel developed in recent years. It is environmentally friendly, non-toxic and tasteless, and is being used more and more accepted by the industry, but the price will be a little more expensive than the former. Therefore, whether it is using condensed silicone rubber to overturn the mold or the addition type silicone rubber to overturn the mold, each has its own advantages, and each can take its own advantages.

Gypsum building mold silica gel is a fluid liquid silicone rubber. Generally, the hardness of the product varies from 10 to 40 degrees after curing. If the customer needs to make large products, such as splitting molds, it is necessary to use liquid mold silicone with high hardness to make molds. On the contrary, for complex patterns and fine and tiny molds, such as filling molds, soft liquid mold silicone must be used. to make a model.

The amount of curing agent added can be determined according to the actual requirements of customers, requiring rapid drying and rapid mold release, and correspondingly more curing agent should be added. Conversely, if you need a slower demoulding, add a little less hardener (but no more than 5% hardener).

Gypsum building mold silicone precautions :

1.  The amount of curing agent should be determined according to the temperature, and it should be reduced if the temperature is high. If the curing agent is used too much, the mold will become hard and brittle; if the curing agent is used too little, the operation time will be prolonged.

2. In order for your silicone mold to achieve the best use effect, please store the mold for at least 24 hours before use.
